Here is the Convention Center. I snapped it while we were speeding by on I579. Oh the excitement! This quilt was in the Haik's Inc. booth.

It is hard to see in the photo but there is a soldier quilted on the flag. Quilted freehand by machine, remarkable. Thanks to Dee for pointing it out to us.

Here is talented Joanna of Fig Tree in her award winning booth.

This is the booth of the very nice Terri the creator of Whimsicals books patterns and fabrics. Terri was so much fun to speak with. Me and my BFF had to get our mitts on Terri's new book. Love it!

Look closely...
Isn't that monkey hanger super cool?!

There were some really cute things here in the Backyard Friends booth.

Button Stitch Designs. Oh! The quilts in this booth were so very well put together.

How cute are these birds with the little pincushion, Just Another Button Co. had some great samples. The new pins are adorable.

I love the house theme in some of Country Quilts patterns.

Cottage Creek Quilts has designs that would great in almost any decor.

What can I say about Carrie of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. She is all that and a bag of chips! I have always liked her designs. Then I discovered her blog and I love the way her personality shines through. I must say meeting her in person was great. She is the kind of gal you want to hang out with. Thank you Carrie for the bonus gifts for Me and Michelle!

This is Pam of Heartspun Quilts. We met her at Kathy Schmitz's booth she was sweet and fun. We had to go and see her booth and buy her shop pack of all her new creation. She had a very nice Helper Bee we could have brought them both home with us. Speaking of Kathy Schmitz, I am not sure why I did not take a photo of her booth, darn. She also had some fab new patterns that my BFF Michelle and I had to buy. Check them out right here soon. Kathy is also making these great pendants, Pam is wearing one. You can sport one too!
Oh my goodness The Lizzie B Cre8ive girls are too much fun! I took numerous photos of them with Flat Mark. These girls have personality plus! You can check them out yourself by listening to their podcast with Annie of Simple Arts.

Look at the cool pattern and the way it was packaged. They gave these away to us. Love it and them. Thanks for the extra lollipops for my little guy! Congratulations on winning most creative booth at Spring Market. Liz? or Beth? your Mom is a sweetheart!

This is the lovely Lorrie of Bean Counter Quilts. She also had a very sweet helper bee in her booth.

I want to thank her for being so nice and for the sweet pattern, Grandmother's Inspiration.

Oh yea about Flat Mark. He is an almost flat doll of Mark Lipinski. Mark is the editor & Chief of Quilters Home Magazine. He is also a quilt and fabric designer among many other talents. I am a member of Mark's Pickle Road Posse and the Flat Mark group that branched out from there. Flat Mark is traveling the world, he is a globetrotter. I smuggled him into Spring Market in my new bag. I was able to get photos with some of the quilt worlds super stars. I even managed to get a photo with Marks son Evan and Mark's parents. Then a photo of myself with real Mark while FM hid in my bag. Hilarious to those of us who are easily amused. He is already on to his next adventure.
Silly and fun.
Market was pretty great and I hope to be able to attend again sometime in the future. Thanks to my LQS shop owner Nancy for allowing me the pleasure of attending!

Do what you love!

I love that you had such a great time. We have a great quilt and craft festival here at the Del Mar fairgrounds/racetrack in San Diego, but it was going on the same time that I was over in the grandstand graduating! Believe me, I wanted to skip out early and check it out, but the family that drove in from out of state wouldn't appreciate that, I'm sure.
