We have gone BANANAS!

We are hooked on playing Bananagrams. It is so much fun. IMHO better than Scrabble. Anyone from reading age and up can play. You can play in more than one way. For instance you can let small children make words and not worry about connecting. It comes in that cute banana shaped bag. You can buy it here. Before you know it you will be saying things like Peel or Split.

I have been trying to find more things we can do as a family. The little one is growing up to fast for me. What do you do with your family for fun?

Freeing exercise?

I have heard many times over the years...just let go. Slap some fabric together. It is such a freeing exercise. Well no offense to the people who can do that and be really happy with the results but I have come to the conclusion that it is not for me. I cannot handle all those light pieces in a row. Looks like a crazy person pieced it. Oh yea that's me the crazy person. I usually hide my insanity by placing my fabric with care. Oh well, I just have to quilt it and give it away. I know the person who is getting it will love it. Yep, I made two. I just need to hand stitch down the binding on this one. Underneath that is my Sisters quilt waiting for the same.
