We have access...

Yippie! Yahoo! My Hubby fixed my network problem. That man is a keeper. I can now show you the photos that go with the previous post.

New magazine cabinets fit under cutting table.
Jars taken from kitchen and filled with non-fat goodies.
I may actually have to quilt this UFO.
Not a great shot of my new curtains, the UFO and the relocated bench.
Another panel being quilted. Gotta love Kathy Schmitz designs and Moda.

A Crafty Moment...

Isn't that a fab blog name? Well I am hoping that you will help me welcome my Auntie to blogging. So please stop on by A Crafty Moment and introduce yourself. I am very excited for my Auntie Cora. She is a very creative, loving and hardworking woman.

I am frustrated by my inability to access my photos! My hubby is working on it. Hopefully we will have a solution soon. I have a least one Christmas in July project to share with you.

Chain reaction...

I have been slowly cleaning up my studio. What a mess and it only seems to get worse as I go.

This all started with me making new curtains for the kitchen window. After finishing and hanging the curtains. We decided to bring in the bench from the living room and put it in front of the window. Well that left an open area in the living room so we brought down a table from the master bath. Still we thought we needed another piece in the kitchen. Thinking that it would cost a pretty penny to buy something I remembered that I had a nice cabinet in my studio. Of course it was filled from top to bottom with magazines. So my Hubby helped me remove the magazines and carry the cabinet down to the kitchen. Oh yea then there was a bare spot in the master bath so I took a small bench from my studio. What a mess. We filled the cabinet with cookbooks and then decided to bring down some sewing knick knacks from the master bedroom. The fabric on the windows is designed by Kathy Schmitz, I love her designs. I found a flimsy that will look good over the cabinet once it is quilted.

I need to move a few small things around in my bedroom to fill in where I took the scissors and thimble. In my studio I can now open up my cutting table all the way. I bought three smaller cabinets that fit under my cutting table to hold all the magazines. I need to sort and refold my fabric and organize all the other sewing paraphernalia. I took the big jars from the kitchen and used them for buttons, spools and charm packs. I need to thank Carrie for giving one of the jars from her booth at Spring Quilt Market. As soon as I can fit it in I will be making that cute strawberry from Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.'s new pattern Fruit Salad.

Well time to get some more work done. I hope you get to do what you love today!

p.s. No Photos! Having a major problem with my network!
